  • Every year we provide nearly 700,000 meals to the staff and students. Most of the students in our school come from very vulnerable home situations, the meal they eat while at school is likely the only one they will have each day. The cost of running this necessary program at the Kibaale Community Centre Schools is $50,000 per year.

In early 2021, the Kibaale Community Centre acquired a neighbouring piece of land that is around 50 acres. Since then we have planted over 3,400 coffee plants, and by the end of 2022 another 10,000 plants are planned to be in the ground.

This initiative will serve two purposes: Revenue that can be created by the sale of the coffee will support the KCC Health Centre, the second is job creation in the Rakai District.
