The Kibaale Community Centre in Uganda transforms lives by providing healthcare, development resources, and Christian education to vulnerable children from disadvantaged homes affected by HIV/AIDS and poverty. You can help provide quality health care in the Rakai District of Uganda by giving to the Kibaale Community Health Centre. Your donation will be used to provide medical care to over 20,000 patients annually which includes; maternity services, overnight wards, immunizations, and purchasing necessary supplies like antibiotics and treatment for at least 10,000 cases of malaria annually. We also have a special focus on HIV/AIDS tests and treatment in an area with the highest rate of infection in the country. The cost of running the Kibaale Community Health Centre exceeds $200,000 per year and your partnership is vital to providing this service.

Every year we provide nearly 700,000 meals to the staff and students. Most of the students in our school come from very vulnerable home situations, the meal they eat while at school is likely the only one they will have each day. The cost of running this necessary program at the Kibaale Community Centre Schools is $50,000 per year.

Thrive educates parents of our students to use their land for healthier and more sustainable farming. We also started a Thrive Garden at our school kitchen so that staff and students will be eating healthier meals. We will be growing the program next year to support 360 families! Water is essential to life. Access to clean water can be a challenge for families in Kibaale. Donating towards a water project makes a significant difference to the overall health of the community.

In early 2021, the Kibaale Community Centre acquired a neighbouring piece of land that is around 50 acres. Since then we have planted over 3,400 coffee plants, and by the end of 2022 another 10,000 plants are planned to be in the ground.

This initiative will serve two purposes: Revenue that can be created by the sale of the coffee will support the KCC Health Centre, the second is job creation in the Rakai District.

Timothy Girls High School is located in Masaka, Uganda. This boarding school allows girls to learn in a safe, peaceful and encouraging environment, where they earn the necessary qualifications for University. Many of these students pay school fees to attend but several rely on scholarships for their advanced education. Your donation can help us provide scholarships for deserving students.

Jeff and Shannon Dyck (Executive Director and Program Director, respectively), along with their 4 children, Joel, Avin, Finn and Mazzy, have been involved in ministry with the Kibaale Community Centre in Southern Uganda since 2008. They are passionate about running a school with high-quality Christian education in this rural area of Uganda, seeing the most vulnerable students and their families benefit from sponsorship, and breaking the poverty cycle in their homes.

Our Student Sponsorship Program allows individuals and families to support a specific student with a monthly donation, providing them with education, meals, healthcare for their family, and access to community development programs. Sponsorship costs $80 per student, typically shared between two sponsors at $40 each, but full sponsorship at $80 is also an option. Every dollar of sponsorship goes directly to support the students in Uganda.

Maize flour is a staple food in Uganda eaten as porridge for breakfast, a thicker consistency is made for dinner.

Gift baskets include a basin of basic necessities; such as soap, cooking oil, tea, rice and salt.

With this gift the student will go to the market with a staff member to choose a new outfit and shoes for themselves.

The gift of a bed set includes a mattress, sheet set, warm blanket and a mosquito net.

Buying a family a goat provides food, milk and a potential source of income.

This filtration system eliminates all common waterborne diseases found in water that is from bore holes and rivers. It provides up to a million litres of clean drinking water for a family.

A bicycle not only shortens the time spent going to and from school but is used by the whole family to carry water and firewood.

This gift card can be given in any amount, for basic needs, or for larger necessities that may arise. You can choose to give this gift to a specific student or where most needed.

$3000 – A mud home package will drastically improve a families life. It includes a mud home, kitchen, pit latrine and installation of a water collection system (rain gutter and barrel).

$5600 – This brick home package will give shelter to a family for generations. It includes a sturdy brick home (complete with concrete floor and plastering), kitchen, pit latrine and installation of a water collection system (rain gutter and barrel).
